NfAH 2019 Year In Review

2019 saw some big victories: the affordable development at 5150 N. Northwest Highway finally received full funding and approval, and the Just Housing Amendment passed in Cook County. We hosted a rent control town hall meeting with State Representative Will Guzzardi, and an outreach event at one of the 45th Ward's newest affordable developments: the new Independence Branch Library. Work on major initiatives, including the Development for All Initiative in the Chicago City Council, and lifting the statewide ban on rent control, continue into 2020!
